If Hollywood is to be believed, travel is exclusively about feeling fine and looking finer.

The reality, of course, is a lot different.

When your body is used to cloud and drizzle, we don’t fare well in heat.

Shoulders blister within minutes and we’re drunk on one cocktail.

Getting your brood from A to B is a nightmare and you arrive so sleep deprived you try to hold a strangers’ hand in the passport queue.

Hollywood, you’ve got a lot to answer for.
