The Riff Raff Events

The Riff Raff events were the absolute highlight of running this community. Each month, we’d take over the Effra Social in Brixton, either in their chintzy front room or dining room, cramming people in to listen to our authors.

Our nights were such a safe and welcoming space for people to listen to great words, and to ask their burning questions. For many authors, The Riff Raff was the first event that they had performed at, so it was our priority to ensure every author felt supported and heard.
