We started The Riff Raff Podcast a couple of months in to creating the community, launching with two incredible episodes featuring Desmond Elliott prize nominees, Kit de Waal (My Name is Leon) and Rowan Hisayo Buchanan (Harmless Like You).

From 2017 to 2020, we recorded 81 episodes of The Riff Raff Podcast, giving us the opportunity to pick the brains of some of the most exciting debut literary talent in the world. As someone who never undertook any education in writing, this podcast was such an enriching opportunity to learn about the publishing industry and the craft of writing from lots of different brainy, talented people, each with their own perspectives.

Every episode was a real treat, but some highlights for me included interviewing, Adam Kay (This is Going to Hurt), Tara Westover (Educated), Olivia Sudjic (Sympathy), Elaine Castillo (America is Not the Heart), Emilie Pine (Notes to Self) and Wendy Mitchell (Somebody I Used to Know).
